About Treston Security Services

Treston Security Services is a fast-growing, Veteran-owned security firm operating across multiple states. We run disciplined, high-accountability operations and expect the same from our dispatch team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands urgency, ownership, and operational control. If you cannot handle call-offs at 2AM, staffing emergencies, or high-volume coordination, this role is not for you.

Who We’re Looking For

We need an experienced Security Dispatcher or Scheduler who:

  • Has worked in security operations or high-volume dispatch environments
  • Understands that every unfilled post is a liability
  • Moves quickly and decisively under pressure
  • Takes ownership of staffing problems instead of passing them off
  • Can manage officers, supervisors, and client expectations simultaneously

You are the backbone of overnight operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Fill call-offs immediately — no delays
  • Maintain 100% post coverage overnight
  • Dispatch officers to emergency assignments
  • Track attendance and no-shows in real time
  • Communicate directly with field supervisors and executive management
  • Document all activity clearly and professionally
  • Escalate serious issues without hesitation
  • Maintain control of scheduling software, communication platforms, and staffing logs

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years dispatching or scheduling (security industry strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience handling high-volume staffing environments
  • Strong decision-making ability under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (clear, direct, professional)
  • Comfortable working independently overnight
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

What We Do NOT Want

  • Passive communicators
  • Individuals who ignore calls or delay responses
  • People who struggle with confrontation or accountability
  • Anyone who views overnight shift as “quiet time”

Overnight operations require leadership, urgency, and discipline.

Compensation & Growth

  • Competitive pay (DOE — experience matters)
  • Stable full-time overnight schedule
  • Growth opportunity into Operations Management
  • Work directly with executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience dispatching for a private security company
  • Experience managing 50+ officers across multiple sites
  • Familiarity with guard compliance requirements (Guard Card, Exposed Firearm Permit, etc.)
  • Experience using scheduling platforms (e.g., Belfry, TrackTik, Deputy, WhenIWork, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of post coverage metrics and staffing accountability
  • Experience handling emergency incidents and escalation procedures
  • Ability to interpret and manage post orders
  • Background in operations coordination, logistics, or field supervision
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
