Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Rate: $19–$21/hr DOE
Schedule: 07/20/2025 – 07/30/2025 (Various shifts available, including evenings and weekends)

Job Description:

Treston Security Services is hiring professional Convention Security Officers for a high-profile special event in downtown San Diego. Officers will be assigned to key event zones, including registration areas, exhibit halls, lobbies, and overnight watch. This is a great opportunity for dependable, detail-oriented professionals to be part of a nationally recognized convention environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access points and credentialed entry zones
• Maintain a strong presence in lobbies, halls, and high-traffic areas
• Conduct crowd control, line management, and directional assistance
• Document and report any suspicious activity or incidents
• Support event staff and follow instructions from on-site leads and supervisors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid California Guard Card (REQUIRED)
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
• Prior experience in event or convention security is preferred
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue
• Must have a smartphone for digital check-in and reporting
• Clean and professional uniform appearance (standards will be provided)
• Must be dependable and on time for all assigned shifts
