CA - Unarmed Security Officer Bike Patrol (Baldwin Hills)

Job Type: Part Time & Full Time 

Salary: $18-$20 / per hour (Depending on Experience)

Full Job Description:

Treston Security Services seeks highly responsible and experienced Bike Patrol Security Officers to protect multiple Baldwin Hills locations. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding to various security situations.

Additional responsibilities for this Security Position includes:

• Safeguard residents from all possible threats and safety hazards.

• Detect and respond to alarms and emergency situations.

• Must operate vehicle in safe and comfortable manner, identify and counter threats along routes, and render aid in the event of accident or other safety hazard.

• Ensure vehicles are in good working order, fueled, and clean.

• Coordinate with internal client staff to accomplish common goals regarding provision of personal assistance and support for principals' activities.

• Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records.

• Communicate effectively with HOA management and residents regarding security concerns or ongoing issues.

• Conduct routine security patrols on foot, by bicycle, using a golf cart, and patrol car to cover the entire community.

• Enforce HOA rules and regulations while interacting courteously with residents and visitors.

• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a CA Guard Card.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to operate and maintain a bicycle, golf cart, and patrol vehicle.

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Physical ability to perform security patrols on foot and operate various vehicles.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
