Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 9:45 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to support a busy retail store in Everett, WA. This role is centered on maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment while proactively deterring loss and addressing day-to-day security concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence at store entrances and key areas
• Deter theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior through observation and patrol
• Monitor foot traffic, merchandise areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Respond promptly to incidents and assist store staff with non-violent situations
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers as needed
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with store management and supervisors to enforce policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Washington State Security Guard License (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and situational awareness
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Availability to work Wednesday–Sunday schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail security or loss prevention experience
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Military or public safety background
