This assignment will focus primarily on access control, credential verification, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and vendors.

Event Information

  • Location: Milpitas, CA (San Jose Area)

  • Event Dates:

    • June 5, 2026

    • June 6, 2026

  • Position: Unarmed Special Event Security Officer

  • Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Uniform: Company-issued Polo Uniform

  • Employment Type: Temporary / Event-Based


Responsibilities

  • Verify credentials and control access points

  • Monitor entrances and restricted areas

  • Assist with guest and vendor check-in procedures

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming presence

  • Enforce event policies and procedures

  • Observe and report suspicious activity

  • Communicate effectively with event staff and supervisors

  • Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security standards


Qualifications

  • Valid California Guard Card (Required)

  • Previous security or event experience preferred

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

  • Reliable transportation

  • Must be punctual and dependable
