Position Overview
Treston Security Services is currently hiring a Special Events Security Manager to assist with managing field operations for special events, conventions, concerts, nightlife events, red carpet events, private events, and other large-scale deployments.

The Special Events Security Manager will be responsible for supervising assigned security officers, assisting with deployment, conducting briefings, ensuring posts are properly staffed, managing breaks, supporting client and venue communication, documenting incidents, and making sure all officers are following company expectations and event post orders.

This position requires a strong leader who can remain calm under pressure, communicate professionally, adjust quickly in fast-paced environments, and represent Treston Security Services with professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities
The Special Events Security Manager will be responsible for assisting with event check-in, confirming officer attendance, assigning officers to their posts, conducting pre-shift briefings, and ensuring all officers understand their duties before deployment.

Additional responsibilities include conducting post checks throughout the event, monitoring officer performance, managing meal and rest breaks, assisting with crowd control, supporting access control points, responding to incidents, communicating with supervisors and clients, and ensuring the event security operation runs smoothly from start to finish.

The manager will also be expected to document incidents, report staffing issues, assist with officer coaching or corrective action when needed, maintain professional communication with venue staff and event organizers, and ensure all officers remain in proper uniform and maintain a professional appearance.

Common Duties May Include
Supervising event security officers, talent escorts, access control officers, backstage posts, VIP areas, vendor areas, credential checkpoints, crowd flow areas, loading docks, green rooms, employee entrances, shuttle areas, and other assigned event locations.

The manager may also assist with guest issues, intoxicated individuals, unauthorized access attempts, medical calls, ejections, lost persons, crowd congestion, blocked walkways, emergency access lanes, and any other security-related concerns that occur during the event.

Requirements
Applicants must have a valid guard card or applicable state security license, prior security supervision or event security experience, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, professional appearance, and the ability to work long hours in active event environments.

Applicants must be dependable, punctual, organized, and comfortable leading a team. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, work outdoors or indoors depending on the event, and remain professional when dealing with guests, staff, vendors, officers, and clients.

Prior experience with conventions, concerts, nightlife, crowd management, talent escorts, red carpet events, large public events, or entertainment security is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a security supervisor, field supervisor, event lead, venue security lead, talent escort lead, or operations lead is preferred. Experience using reporting systems, scheduling platforms, radios, incident logs, and officer check-in processes is also helpful.

Pay Rate
$24.00 – $26.00 per hour DOE
