Job Summary:
The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a professional who can maintain a secure environment while addressing guest needs with courtesy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in both security operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Duties:
   • Regular patrols of the property, including guest floors, lobby and ballrooms, parking area, and external perimeter.
   • Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
   • Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
   • Assist with incident reporting, documenting security concerns, and notifying management or law enforcement as necessary.
2. Additional Duties:
   • Conduct nightly audits of property access points, ensuring doors and various entrances/exits are secure.
   • Provide support for after-hours arrivals, supply deliveries, maintenance issues, or vendor access.
   • Foster a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all employees and guests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience in a hospitality or customer service environment is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively and calmly.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and basic computer systems.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols during an 8-hour shift.
• Availability to work full-time overnight 3rd shift.
