Position Details

  • Position: Special Event Security Officer

  • Location: Santa Monica, CA

  • Pay Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Employment Type: Part-Time / Event-Based

  • Uniform: Provided by Company

  • Schedules: Vary based on event assignments

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned event areas and maintain a visible security presence

  • Provide access control and credential verification when required

  • Assist with guest direction and customer service

  • Monitor crowds and report safety concerns

  • Enforce event policies and venue regulations

  • Assist with crowd management and line control

  • Observe and report suspicious activity

  • Complete incident reports and daily activity reports as required

  • Work closely with supervisors, event staff, and venue personnel

Qualifications

  • Valid California Guard Card (Required)

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Previous security, customer service, or event experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

  • Reliable transportation

  • Dependable and punctual
