We are currently hiring Armed Security Officers for cannabis dispensaries in Rio Dell, CA. This position demands professionalism, vigilance, and a commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.

As an Armed Security Officer, you will provide a visible security presence to deter threats and ensure compliance with safety protocols. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-risk environments and are committed to protecting people and property.

Responsibilities

• Access Control:

• Verify identification and credentials for individuals entering the dispensary.
• Conduct bag checks and wand inspections as needed.

• Patrols and Surveillance:

• Conduct regular patrols of the dispensary’s interior and exterior to deter theft and identify suspicious activities.
• Use surveillance equipment to maintain oversight of critical areas.

• Incident Response:

• Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and enforce security measures as required.

• Compliance Enforcement:

• Enforce local and state regulations specific to cannabis operations.
• Address violations or conflicts with professionalism and tact.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Create detailed reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Communicate regularly with site management and, if necessary, law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Armed Security Guard Card.
• Previous armed security experience, particularly in retail or high-value environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, situational awareness, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Availability for morning, swing, or graveyard shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to professionalism and customer service.
