Job Type:

12 hour shifts, Overnight.

Pay Rate:

$17 per hour.

Full Job Description:

Treston Security Services is seeking a responsible and experienced Security Officer to provide protection for a Construction Site in the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding to various security situations.

Additional responsibilities for this Security Position includes:

• Monitor and secure the worksite during assigned hours.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies.
• Control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
• Maintain a detailed log of all activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with estate management to address any specific security needs.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, trespassing, theft, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, hazardous materials, and other incidents

Qualifications:

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Additional requirements of the Professional Security Officer include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have Tennessee Security License, or able to obtain their Security License
• Must be 18 years of age
• Have a reliable means of communication and transportation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English 
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form
• Be an effective team member and courteous telephone manners
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Good organizational skills

Licenses (Required):

• Valid Security Guard Card/License
• US work authorization (Required)
• High school Diploma or Higher (Preferred)

Experience:

Customer Service: 2 year (Preferred)

Security Patrol Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1-2 year (Preferred)
