Pay Rate: $22–$24 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Scheduler / Dispatcher to support our operations team out of our South Gate office. This role is critical in ensuring proper staffing coverage, real-time communication with field personnel, and maintaining operational continuity across all assigned posts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm security officers for all assigned posts

  • Fill open shifts, call-offs, and last-minute coverage needs

  • Maintain daily communication with officers, supervisors, and management

  • Monitor attendance, tardiness, and shift activity

  • Coordinate with operations regarding staffing needs and changes

  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports

  • Utilize scheduling and reporting systems (Belfry, THERMS, etc.)

  • Assist with incident follow-ups and operational support as needed


Requirements

  • Prior experience in scheduling, dispatch, or security operations preferred

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized

  • Proficient in basic computer systems and scheduling platforms

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and staffing shortages


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the private security industry

  • Familiarity with scheduling software (Belfry or similar systems)

  • Knowledge of BSIS requirements and security operations

  • Previous dispatcher or operations center experience
