Position Overview:
As a Recruiter / Hiring Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can develop and implement hiring strategies to ensure we attract and retain high-quality security personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Screen applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate and conduct in-person interviews with applicants.
- Assist in the selection, hiring, and onboarding process for security officers and staff.
Candidate Outreach & Engagement:
- Maintain strong communication with potential candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize job boards, social media, and networking to build a pipeline of candidates.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events to promote Treston Security Services.
Onboarding & Compliance:
- Ensure all new hires meet licensing and certification requirements.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork.
- Assist with new hire orientation and initial training coordination.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
- Track hiring metrics and recruitment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in recruiting, human resources, or talent acquisition preferred.
- Experience in security industry recruiting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
