Position Overview

Treston Security Services is actively hiring Armed Nightlife Security Officers for an established LGBTQ+ friendly nightlife venue in West Hollywood.

This position is best suited for experienced officers who thrive in fast-paced nightlife environments and can confidently balance strong security awareness with professionalism and customer service. Officers must be comfortable working around large crowds, enforcing venue policies, and de-escalating situations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.

Prior nightclub, lounge, bar, concert, or nightlife security experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive environment throughout the venue

• Monitor entrances, exits, crowd flow, and designated areas

• Verify IDs and assist with access control procedures

• Identify and de-escalate conflicts or disruptive behavior professionally

• Enforce venue rules and safety procedures consistently

• Respond quickly and calmly to incidents and emergencies

• Coordinate with venue management and law enforcement when necessary

• Complete incident reports and document notable activity

• Maintain a visible and professional armed security presence at all times

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)

• Valid California Exposed Firearms Permit (Required)

• Prior nightlife, bar, club, or event security experience preferred

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful toward all guests and staff

• Must be reliable and available for weekend/night shifts

• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods in high-energy environments
