Shift: Monday – Saturday | 2200 – 0630

About the Position

Treston Security Services is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to join our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in South Gate, CA.
This position is responsible for monitoring live security feeds, dispatching response units, logging incident reports, and ensuring consistent situational awareness across multiple client properties.

The SOC Operator will serve as the central point of communication for on-site security teams, field supervisors, and management during overnight operations. Candidates must be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live CCTV, access control, GPS, and body camera systems for all active sites.

  • Track officer check-ins, patrols, and incident updates through THERMS and GSOC software.

  • Coordinate emergency response or backup units when required.

  • Document, log, and escalate incidents per company reporting protocols.

  • Maintain communication with field supervisors and on-site security staff throughout the shift.

  • Draft and distribute end-of-shift summaries and incident reports.

  • Assist management with data compilation, client notifications, and after-hours communications.

  • Monitor and maintain radio and phone communications for all field operations.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security operations, dispatch, or GSOC environment preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and dispatch/reporting platforms (THERMS experience preferred)

  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight hours

  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
